The Bison have a problem. A £30k sized problem.
During the last week, apparently 2 sponsors have pulled out, leaving the team with a budget defecit, and to top it off, guess which airline the Bison were using to fly players in………………Zoom.
This has now left them in the unenviable position of needing to raise £30k by Sunday night, so they can get the players and equipment to Basingstoke.
And the response on ‘THF’……..well, it saddens me. Far too many members of the ‘hockey family’ seem to be happy to let the Bison just die. ‘Living beyond their means’ is the mantra. How havin g sponsors pull out is ‘living beyond your means’ I will never know.
