Now, before I start I want to make it very clear that I have no problems with 90% of all hockey fans in the UK. Most folks are well reasoned, intelligent types, who understand the differing situations different teams find themselves in. It is the other 10% with whom I take umbrage.
Now, for those folks who can not be bothered sifting through page after page on yet another forum, the gist of the matter is a number of the Panthers fans seem to feel that we (and other teams outside the ‘Big 4’) are, to quote one Panthers fan, ‘below standard’, and have no place in the top level of the game.
Well, assclown, if it wasn’t for us ‘below standard’ teams, yourselves and your best buddies the Steelers would have no league in which to perpetuate your rivalry. It might surprise some folks, but the EIHL is always going to be made up of ‘Haves’ and ‘Have Nots’.
Which brings me around to another point.
