2 more names added to the roster.

So, this week, the Phoenix announced 2 more signings for the forthcoming season, and one of them is rather familiar to the Faithful.

Joe Graham returns to the Phoenix after a 3 season absence. During those 3 seasons he dressed for Guildford and Peterborough, earning himself an EPL Play Off winners medal in the process.

The other signing is the young prospect Jacob Corson-Heron. JustĀ 20 years old, Jacob has a substantial body of experience behind him in the EPL making his debut aged just 14, having iced for Milton Keynes (where he won an EPL Championship medal), and Basingstoke. Jacob missed most of last season due to an injury sustained in practise, but has successfully rehabbed, and like many other young British players before him, the lure of working alongside Tony Hand proved to be too hard to refuse bringing him north for the first time in his career.

As an interesting aside, in an interview with the Bison blog ‘Banner on The Wall’, Jacob let slip that the chance to re-team with Liam Chong played a part in his decision to sign for the Phoenix… Chong has yet to be announced as a Phoenix player for 2013/14, so perhaps this is an indication of a future signing by the club?
